Our test gauge allow an easy way to check fuel lift pump pressure. The gauge is designed for a convenient connection to the outlet nipple of the fuel filter drain cock. The test gauge is equipped with pressure tubing sufficiently long to allow the gauge head to be temporarily fastened (taped) to the exterior surface of the windshield for easy viewing during road test. The pressure at idle should be around 7 psi and should drop no lower than to 2 psi at full throttle. If test pressure at full throttle is lower than 2 psi, the likely cause is a weak or failed fuel lift pump. These are listed separately.
