The factory crossover pipe is a double wall design, which often suffers a colapse of the inner pipe tube when the bends are made, see second picture for details. This results restriction that can often be extreme, affecting exh breathing for the driver-side of the engine. We have found factory pipes, which had the inner wall buckled inward far enough that a pencil would not fit through the area left available for exh flow.
It is ALWAYS a good idea to upgrade to our Hi-Flow crosspipe.
