I purchased my PMD isolator because my '96 6.5L had started missing and stalling...until if finally just quit. With the new PMD isolator (and a new lift pump) my truck is running better than ever. As an added benefit...the cruise control actually works now that I installed the new PMD!

Good design. Easy to install. Good instructions. The only thing that could be better is a factory harness connector that had it's own weatherproof shroud and would connect to the stock harness. But...the shrink wrap works too!

Your Isolator system saved me $3200 per quoted from two auto tech. sources on what was wrong with my 96 Sub. Thanks to a little research and contacting Bill @ dieselpage.com in Stevensville, Montana, I was able to fix it myself, and boys and girls I am not a Mechanic. You were highly recommended. I am pleased with everything. By the way thanks for walking me through the install.

WOW, I was very Skeptical about this Product at First but after having it on the truck for 15 minutes I knew that the Problem was NO MORE!!!!!! Let me tell you all what was going on, It started about 3months ago and only got worse as time went on, so after spending $105.00 for the fuel lift pump and a new OIL Pressure switch the problem went away for a week then picked up where it left off.. So after talking with HDP, Bill convinced me that the PMD Isolator was surely failing " I SAID I'LL BUY ONE" since then no more problems..
The Customer Care IS the BEST I Have ever seen when it comes to performance parts, OEM parts or better parts Period. Mileage the PMD Isolator was put on 280194.9mi

Installed the assembly today and the difference is really surprising. I wonder how long my old PMD was operating at less than optimum efficiency.

Installation really was simple. Immediately I noticed that the truck had a whole different character than I'd become accustomed to beginning with a crisp, organized start. It seems to transition off idle better than before. I get the impression that it's returned some torque because it seems to pull the gears better particularly when rolling on the power at highway speeds. Where before it needed to down shift, now it stays in OD and accelerates cleanly. Overall it seems to run smoother at all RPMs but the major point....

Before the engine would miss going down the road occasionally and stall in an unpredictable fashion except when the engine reached peak operating temp right before the thermostat opened and the poor old PMD was really getting the convection oven treatment. At that point, it was almost undriveable. It would stall within a few hundred feet of the exact same place on the way home.

Now, the driveability of the truck is solid except that stupid point at about 48 to 50 mpg where the transmisison can't decide whether to lock the converter or not and just bobbles back and forth. I'll be ordering an e-prom soon.

I never though it possible, but I think we finally have a reliable 6.5 diesel. I am no longer afraid for my wife to drive her suburban. We have been through countless PMD's and even had one of the other highly praised "original" PMD Isolators (which was no more reliable than stock) prior to buying Heath's setup. No PMD problems since changing to Heath Diesel's product. On top of everything else, the people at Heath Diesel are very friendly, honest, and quite helpful. Heath Diesel is not just one of those hyped up, out to get your money, companies like one of the other "big" (?) names in diesel that is often so highly spoken of on a certain diesel forum (be careful!!)... believe me, I have purchased from both.

Bottom line - I highly recommend this company and this product. I have purchased other items from them with the same positive results/experience. Any further purchases for my 6.5 diesel will be from Heath.
